Mr Lee's Noodles is a company that sells gourmet noodles in a cup. They pride themselves in having the finest quality ingredients and 'no nasties' in their noodles.
For their launch in America they had been testing a kiosk for customers to buy their noodles and also have it cooked for them so they are ready to eat like a hot drinks dispenser. It was important that the terminology used was in American-English for customers to understand the instructions correctly.
Below are the introductory screens where a user can choose their noodles and either decide to have them hot to-go or to simply buy and eat later.
This process had to inform the right safety precautions with each instruction so that customers were ensured a smooth journey from start to finish. At three points of the process a moving graphic was used to display the instruction needed.

Once the noodles have been safely put into the hatch there is the option to 'Pimp your noodles' by adding extra flavours. Whilst customers wait for their noodles a short story about Mr. Lee is displayed which transitions to the 'Your noodles are ready' screen with an animated entrance to the final steps in completing the purchase.
In cases where a customer takes a while to take their cup a reminder message informs them to take their noodles with them. If the noodles are left in the hatch and a customer abandons the purchase then a warning message will appear so that the issue can be dealt with properly and the next customer can make a purchase.
